Man says hot liquids were poured on him at P.F. Chang's

GRETNA – A man claims that he was injured in a restaurant when hot liquid was poured on him.

Lavoy Gerard filed a suit Jan. 4 against P.F. Chang's China Bistro Inc. and Chay Armstrong in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Jan. 7, 2017 at the P.F. Chang's on 3301 Veterans Blvd. The plaintiff was caused injury when the defendant, an employee of the restaurant, spilled hot liquid on the plaintiff's body, resulting in injuries.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Kervin W. Doyle of the Law Offices of Kervin W. Dolyle & Associates in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 779236.
