Leasing company claims customer breached agreement

GRETNA – A credit leasing company is seeking damages for an alleged breach of contract.

VW Credit Leasing Ltd. filed a suit Jan. 9 against Michael J. Tillman in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging breach of contract.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages, claiming that the defendant breached a contract. The suit states that the defendant entered into a contract for the lease of a 2016 Volkswagen Passat on April 13, 2016. The suit states the defendant has breached the contract through failing to pay off the lease as agreed upon in the contract.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by G. Thomas Arbour of the Law Offices of G. Thomas Arbour in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division P Judge Lee V. Faulkner Jr.
