GRETNA – A lawsuit filed Jan. 12 claims an individual was struck by falling ceiling.
Troyrey Porter filed a suit against Mary B. Adams, VPG Management LLC, and GNO Portfolio LLC in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.
According to the claim, the plaintiff was at the address of 671 Central Ave., Apt. No. 105 in Jefferson on Feb. 8, 2017 when the incident occurred. The suit states the plaintiff was injured in the shower when sheetrock fell from the ceiling and struck the plaintiff.
The defendant is accused of negligence.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Darleen M. Jacobs in New Orleans.
