H&H Asphalt accused of poor paving job

NEW ORLEANS – A company claims that a paver mistakenly covered all the drains in its parking lot while paving. 

Kehoe Family Investments LLC filed a lawsuit on Oct. 30 against Walter Holmes and H&H Asphalt Paving LLC in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Oct. 31, 2017. The suit states that the defendant was paving a parking lot belonging to the plaintiff, but mistakenly paved over the drains in the lot, creating a hazard anytime that it rained.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Patrick G. Kehoe in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Piper D. Griffin.
