Linen company seeks damages for alleged breach of contract

GRETNA – A linen service company is seeking damages for alleged breach of contract.

Loop Linen Service Inc. filed a suit Jan. 16 against Columbia Sussex Corp. and Andrea Dexter, individually, in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging breach of contract.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place Dec. 15, 2016 when the defendant was entered into a contract with the plaintiff for five years of service to be provided by the plaintiff. The suit states that on Oct. 16, 2017, the defendant refused to honor the terms of the agreement and breached contract.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Michael S. Futrell of Connick and Connick LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John Molaison Jr.
