Mullin Landscape, Bomanite & Crystal Pools accused of shoddy work

NEW ORLEANS – A couple is seeking damages for breach of contract, alleging various contractors did a poor job on their property.

John B. Esnard III and Michelle Maraist Esnard filed a lawsuit on Jan. 16 against Mullin Landscape Associates LLC, Bomanite of New Orleans Inc., and Crystal Pools & Spa Inc. in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging negligence and breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff contracted with the defendants on Oct. 19, 2016  to remodel the exterior of their residence. The suit states that the defendants were negligent and failed to complete the work in a professional manner, leaving damages that were not there prior to the work.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract and negligence.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Charles M. Thomas of Huber, Slack, Thomas & Marcelle LLP in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Paulette R. Irons.
