NEW ORLEANS – A property owner claims that a buyer has failed to make payments on a membership interest as agreed upon.
Jolly Dakota Group LLC filed a lawsuit on Jan. 23 against Bella Capital LLC in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging breach of contract.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff and defendant entered into a membership interest agreement on property located at 625 Celeste St. in New Orleans on Jan. 3, 2017. The suit states that the defendant has failed to make payments as required by the agreement despite demands being made from the plaintiff.
The defendant is accused of breach of contract.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Scott L. Sternberg of Sternberg, Naccari & White LLC in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Nakisha Ervin-Knott.
