Damages sought as co-property owner declines partition

NEW ORLEANS – A woman claims that a man has failed to respond to her wishes to partition a piece of property.

Lisa Musso filed a lawsuit Jan. 9 against Daniel A. Markey in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging failure to agree to partition.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages claiming that the defendant, a co-property owner of the address of 5315 Marigny St., New Orleans, has failed to agree to partition the property.

The defendant is accused of unwillingness to partition.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney J. Williams Starr in Destrehan.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Rachael Johnson.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 18-231.
