GRETNA – A funding company is seeking more than $1,100 on an open account.
Midland Funding LLC filed a suit Jan. 8 against Sandra McQuarter in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages, claiming that the defendant has been negligent in failing to pay back sums due in the balance of $1,187.22 plus 4.25 percent interest on a Best Buy account.
The defendant is accused of sums due.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Gregory Eaton of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott Schlegel.
