Bank seeks damages of over $21,000 on open account

GRETNA – American Express is seeking damages for an open account.

American Express Centurion Bank filed a suit Jan. 16 against Hoan Vu Mai in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages on an open account, claiming that the defendant failed to pay off a balance of $21,119.12.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Gilbert Gonzalez Jr. of The DeGrasse Law Firm PC in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Stephen Grefer.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 779611.
