Man seeks damages after balcony collapses

NEW ORLEANS – A man claims that he fell to the ground when a balcony collapsed.

Charles Bush filed a lawsuit Feb. 6 against Great Northern Insurance Co., and Harry and Kimberly Rosenberg in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging negligence. 

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages claiming that the plaintiff was painting the property that belonged to the defendants at 1139 Bourbon St. when the balcony collapsed and caused the plaintiff to fall to the ground.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Jack Ruli Jr. of Gennusa, Piacun & Ruli in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Ethel Julien.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 18-1200.
