Debt collector seeks more than $3,000 from Lafitte resident

GRETNA – A Lafitte woman is alleged to have failed to pay a balance on a Walmart account.

Midland Funding LLC filed a suit Feb. 7 against Alexi Flores in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.

According to the claim, the plaintiff was assigned the rights, title and interest in the alleged debt from Synchrony Bank. It alleges it is owed $3,985.40 plus interest. 

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Gregory M. Eaton of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge. 

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius E. Regan.
