A woman claims that she was caused to trip and fall at a Burlington Coat Factory store

GRETNA — A woman claims that she tripped and fell at a Burlington Coat Factory store.

Shambra Poole filed a suit on Feb. 20 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Burlington Coat Factory Warehouse Corporation, alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff alleges that she was at a Burlington Coat Factory store in Jefferson Parish on March 17 when she allegedly was caused to trip and fall over items that had allegedly been left on the ground.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by William E. Mura of the Law Offices of Warren A. Forstall Jr. LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.

The 24th Judicial District Court case number 780745.
