GRETNA –American Express is seeking more than $14,000 from a Jefferson Parish man.
American Express Bank filed a suit on Jan. 19 against Jamal A. Abdalbaqi in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging open account.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking payment of $14,448.10 plus interest, claiming that the defendant failed to pay off a credit card.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Gilbert G. Gonzalez Jr of The DeGrasse Law Firm PC in Baton Rouge.
