NEW ORLEANS – A couple is seeking damages following an alleged slip and fall in a Winn-Dixie.
Sandra Ferro and Nicholas Ferro filed a lawsuit on February 20 against Winn-Dixie Montgomery LLC, dba Winn-Dixie, and XYZ Insurance Company in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs are seeking damages for an incident that allegedly took place on Aug. 17, 2017 when Sandra Ferro was at the Winn-Dixie on Tchoupitoulas Street. She claims she was caused to slip and fall on a substance that was outside of a freezer.
The defendant is accused of negligence.
The plaintiffs seek all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiffs are represented by attorney John D. Sileo in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Henry Julien Jr.
