Dollar General accused of negligence in slip and fall case

NEW ORLEANS – A woman is suing Dollar General alleging negligence.

Kimberly Denesse filed a lawsuit February 22 against DolgenCorp LLC, dba Dollar General, and DG Louisiana LLC, dba Dollar General, in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that allegedly took place on March 9, 2017 when the plaintiff was at the Dollar General at 5700 Crowder Blvd. The suit states that the plaintiff slipped and fell in liquid that had been left on the ground.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Edward J. Womac of the Law Offices of Edward J. Womac & Associates in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Kern A. Reese.
