A woman is seeking damages after she allegedly slipped and fell at an Outback Steakhouse

GRETNA — A woman claims that she slipped and fell at an Outback Steakhouse.

Betty Baylor filed a suit on March 2 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Bloomin' Brands Inc. and XYZ Insurance Company, alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that allegedly took place on June 22 when she allegedly was at an Outback Steakhouse in Metairie. She claims that she was caused to slip and fall on a liquid on the ground.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Joseph R. McMahon III in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.

The 24th Judicial District Court case number 781168.
