Woman alleges she was sexually assaulted in workplace

GRETNA – A woman claims that she was physically assaulted in her workplace.

Shana Roberts filed a suit Feb. 28 against Musa Hamed and King's Marble & Granite in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging assault.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place in 2016 when the defendant lent the plaintiff over $3,000. The suit states that the defendant began to harass the plaintiff despite her refusing the attempts, then on March 2, 2017, the plaintiff, while trying to decline the defendant's advances, was assaulted by the defendant who began to fondle her body and not allow her to leave. The plaintiff has had to seek out therapy due to the incident and had to seek out another place of employment.

The defendant is accused of assault.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by W. J. LeBlanc Jr in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Stephen Enright Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 781105.
