NEW ORLEANS – A woman claims she fell into a large puddle of water outside of her apartment.
Joyce Peters filed a suit March 20 against the New Orleans Sewerage and Water Board in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging negligence.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on April 5, 2017. The plaintiff was outside of her apartment on Bienville Street when she says she was caused to fall into large area filled with water leaked from a pipe.
The defendant is accused of negligence.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jim Hall of Jim S. Hall & Associates in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division G Judge Robin Giarrusso.
