A woman claims that Globe Life and Accident Insurance Company was negligent

GRETNA — A woman is accusing her insurance company of negligence.

Wanda Seymour filed a suit on March 26 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Globe Life and Accident Insurance Company, alleging sums due.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that allegedly took place while she had a life insurance policy with the defendant. The suit states that the plaintiff's son allegedly passed away on July 17, 2016. The plaintiff claims that she was not paid for the damages suffered by the loss of her son.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Christopher Harrison of Jack, Harrison, Hampton & Steward in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Stephen D. Enright Jr.
