A woman is seeking damages due to allegedly falling at Katie's Restaurant & Bar

NEW ORLEANS — A woman claims that she was injured when she allegedly fell at a restaurant.

Donna Reno filed a lawsuit on March 26 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Scottie's Creole Cooking & Catering LLC d/b/a Katie's Restaurant & Bar and State Farm Fire and Casualty Company, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that allegedly took place on Nov. 12. She claims that she was caused to fall when she allegedly encountered an uneven floor that had been poorly maintained.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney G. Aaron Humphreys of Beall & Thies LLC in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius E. Regan.
