NEW ORLEANS — A woman claims that she slipped and fell at a cemetery.

Lena G. Webre filed a lawsuit on March 27 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Old Republic Insurance Company, S.E. Cemeteries of Louisiana LLC, Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, Stew Art Enterprises Inc. and S.E. Funeral Homes of Louisiana LLC d/b/a Metairie Cemetery, alleging negligence. 

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that allegedly took place on May 13 when she allegedly was caused to slip and fall on a substance that allegedly was on the ground on the defendants' property.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Colin J. Lagarde of Lagarde Law LLC in New Orleans and Steven J. Rando of Law Offices of Steven J. Rando LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Paulette R. Irons.
