GRETNA – A couple claims they were injured in a car accident.
Cory Cobena and Dajonic Smith filed a suit April 5 against Ace American Insurance Co., BFI Waste Services LLC, and Vincio Ardon in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on June 28, 2017 when the plaintiff was driving and the defendant, who was driving a vehicle for BFI Waste Services, allegedly rear-ended the plaintiff's vehicle.
The defendant is accused of negligence.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jon Yeager of Yaeger, Lanasa, Tauzier LLC in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Stephen Enright.
