Woman claims physician was negligent

GRETNA – A woman claims she was caused unreasonable suffering when her doctor failed to diagnose her condition in a reasonable amount of time.

Charee E. Fabiano and August J. Fabiano Jr. filed a suit Jan. 29 against Vernon Palmisano M.D. and Ochsner Clinic LLC in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident which that place beginning in November 2014. The suit states the plaintiff was not informed of CT results in a timely manner and therefore failed to receive treatment in a reasonable amount of time. The plaintiff was allegedly caused to suffer from sepsis and a perirectal abscess.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Abrian Color Jr. of Ballay, Braud & Colon PLC in Belle Chasse.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John Molaison Jr.
