State of Louisiana is seeking to forfeit property

GRETNA — The State of Louisiana is seeking to forfeit property.

The State of Louisiana filed a suit on Jan. 16 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Dameon Victorian, alleging that he failed failed to claim $705.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages, alleging that the defendant has failed to make any claims on the property, leaving it to the state to reclaim ownership.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by David Wheeler in Gretna.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Stephen D. Enright Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court case number 779612.
