A man claims that he was injured at an AMC movie theater.

GRETNA — A man claims that he was injured at an AMC movie theater.

Edwin Moffett filed a suit on April 9 in the 24th Judicial District Court against AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc., alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that allegedly took place on June 10 when he allegedly was caused to fall when a post that he was leaning on allegedly malfunctioned.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Frank J. D'Amico Jr. in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.

The 24th Judicial District Court case number 782553.
