PAR Contractors Inc. allegedly performed substandard work on home

GRETNA — Two individuals claim that the work done on their home was not up to standard and caused damage to their property.

Michael and Kristen Bonura filed a suit on April 23 in the 24th Judicial District Court against PAR Contractors Inc., alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for a series of incidents that allegedly took place when the plaintiffs hired the defendant to complete work on their property at 1519 Homer St. in Metairie. The suit claims that the defendants' work was defective in nature and caused an extensive amount of damage to the home.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by F. Victor Hastings of the Hastings Law Firm in Kenner.

The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.

The 24th Judicial District Court case number 783005.
