GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages after her car was struck by another car whose driver, she alleges, was negligent.
Marchalla Fleming filed a suit April 23 against Safety National Casualty Corp.; United Seating and Mobility LLC; and Stephen Jackson in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Nov. 9, 2017 when the plaintiff was driving. The suit states the defendant failed to slow her car down and struck the plaintiff's car.
The defendant is accused of negligence.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by J. Benjamin Avin of Irpino, Avin & Hawkins in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry Sullivan Jr.
