Man seeks damages following fall in grocery store

GRETNA – A man is seeking damages for a slip and fall he said happened in a grocery store.

Bernard Flint filed a suit April 24 against Dorignac's Food Market LLC and Hanover Insurance Co. in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Jan. 17 when the plaintiff was at Dorignac's Food Center. The plaintiff claims he was caused to slip and fall when he walked in the store.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Vincent Glorioso III of The Glorioso Law Firm in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott Schlegel.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 783100.
