GRETNA – A woman claims she was injured at work in a slip and fall.
Betsy Oliver filed a suit April 24 against John Doe and ABC Co. in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on April 24, 2017 when the plaintiff was working at the McDonald's at 2700 Airline Drive. The suit states the plaintiff was caused to slip and fall while at work, which left her with physical injuries.
The defendant is accused of negligence through failing to provide a safe workplace.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Galen Hair of Scott, Vicknair, Hair and Checki LLC in New Orleans.
