GRETNA — A man claims that he was involved in a car accident that allegedly was caused by a driver employed the Parish of Jefferson.
Keith Henderson filed a suit on April 30 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Road District No. 1 of the Parish of Jefferson and Joseph Logue, alleging negligence.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that allegedly took place on Aug. 10 when he was at the intersection of Clearview Parkway. and Airline Highway. The plaintiff claims that the defendant improperly changed lanes and struck his vehicle, which allegedly caused him to sustain injuries.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Edward J. Womac Jr. of the Law Offices of Edward J. Womac Jr. & Associates LLC in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius E. Regan.
