GRETNA — A bank claims that two individuals have failed to pay their mortgage.
Wells Fargo Bank filed a suit on April 30 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Willie McKnight Jr. and Kindra McKnight, alleging breach of contract.
According to the claim, the plaintiff claims that the defendants failed to pay their mortgage as agreed, which allegedly makes them liable for damages.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Devon B. McKnight of Seale, Smith, Zuber & Barnette in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.
