GRETNA — A woman claims that she was injured while riding a bus.
Cizaka Ashley filed a suit on May 4 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Sedgwick Claims Management Services Inc., Jahmal Perkins and Transdev Services Inc. d/b/a Jefferson Transit, alleging negligence.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that allegedly took place on May 13 when she was riding a bus that allegedly was operated by Perkins. The suit claims that Perkins was negligent and collided with another car, causing the plaintiff to sustain injuries.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Craig S. Leydecker in Gretna.
The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.
