Navy Federal Credit Union claims that Westwego man owes it more than $23,000

GRETNA — A credit union is seeking more than $23,000 in sums due.

Navy Federal Credit Union filed a suit on May 11 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Samuel L. Johnson III d/b/a Toucan Transportation, alleging an open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account in the balance of $23,869.50, claiming that the defendant failed to pay off the balance due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Everette C. Altdoerffer of Stephen Bruce & Associates in Edmond, Okla.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John J. Molaison Jr.
