A woman claims that she tripped and fell over a hole at Park Timbers Swim & Tennis Club

NEW ORLEANS — A woman claims that she was injured at a swim and tennis club.

Janel Fielding filed a lawsuit on May 9 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, Park Timbers Homeowners Association and Park Timbers Swim & Tennis Club, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that allegedly took place on May 12, 2017 when she was on the defendants' property at 1 Park Timbers Dr. in New Orleans. The suit claims that the plaintiff was caused to trip and fall over a hole near the swimming pool, which allegedly caused her to sustain physical injuries.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney's fees and appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by Logan Albertine of Huber, Slack, Thomas & Marcelle LLP in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge Clare Jupiter.
