Capital One is seeking nearly $6,000 from Louisiana consumer

GRETNA – Capital One Bank (USA) NA claims that it is owed more than $5,000 in connection with an open credit card account.

Capital One Bank filed a lawsuit June 1 against Leila San Martin in the 24th Judicial District Court.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages related to an open account with a balance of $5,901.12 plus interest. The bank said San Martin has failed to pay the amount due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Paul S. Brennan of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle M. Taylor.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 784391.
