GRETNA – Capital One Bank (USA), NA filed a lawsuit June 1 against Ashley A. Toney in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging that the defendant owes more than $1,000 on an open credit card account.
According to the petition, the plaintiff is seeking $1,410.09 in damages, representing the balance due on the account, plus interest. Capital One alleges that the defendant has failed to pay the amount due.
The bank is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jeremy L. Nusloch of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy A. Miller.
