Bank of America lawsuit seeks payment of $4,283 due on account

GRETNA – Bank of America is seeking more than $4,000 owed by the holder of an open account.

Bank of America filed a lawsuit June 11 against Janie Catoire in the 24th Judicial District Court.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages in the amount of $4,283.37 plus interest, claiming that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance due on her account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. It is represented by Jeffrey Toepfer of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Michael Mentz.
