NEW ORLEANS – A woman filed a lawsuit seeking damages from Hotel Management Advisors Inc. and The Phoenix Insurance Co. in connection with an alleged slip and fall at the Staybridge Suites New Orleans.
Sheila Cottingham filed a lawsuit July 2 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, claiming negligence.
According to the complaint, Cottingham is seeking damages for an incident that took place on July 3, 2017 when she allegedly slipped and fell on a substance in the hotel lobby.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney's fees and all appropriate relief. She is represented by Jeremy Soso of The Lambert Firm PC in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Kern Reese.
