Man claims Magnolia Fleet told potential employer he stole from company

GRETNA – A man claims that he was unfairly denied employment after Magnolia Fleet LLC told another company that he had stolen from the company when he worked for Magnolia Fleet.

Kenneth Delaune filed a lawsuit July 5, alleging breach of a confidential mutual release agreement.

According to the complaint, Delaune was allegedly denied employment by Magnolia Fleet, with the company claiming he was ineligible for a job.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. He is represented by George Vourvoulias of Harmon, Smith & Vourvolias LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Stephen Grefer.
