State Farm among defendants named in lawsuit over fall in an apartment

NEW ORLEANS – A woman is seeking damages for a fall in an apartment.

NEW ORLEANS – A woman is seeking damages for a fall in an apartment.

Holly J. Guidry filed a lawsuit March 22 against State Farm Fire & Casualty Co. and David Kunian in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on April 13, 2017 when the plaintiff was at 931 Aline St. in New Orleans. The suit states the plaintiff was caused to fall through the ground in the bedroom, resulting in injuries.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Gregory Chartano in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Christopher Bruno.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 18-2800.
