New Orleans man seeks $18,000 in unpaid rent

NEW ORLEANS – A man is seeking damages, claiming that the defendant has failed to pay rent.

Michael C. Piccione filed a lawsuit June 29 against Kevin P. Fucich in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging breach of contract and sums due.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place beginning Sept. 1, 2017 when the plaintiff and defendant entered into a lease agreement. The suit states that the defendant failed to pay off the balance due for the monthly rent, which totaled $18,000 in sums due.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract and sums due.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Chais Sweat of Middleberg Riddle Group in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge Robin Giarrusso.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 18-6403.
