Office of Community Development Disaster seeks more than $101,000

GRETNA – The Office of Community Development Disaster is seeking more than $101,000 from a resident.

State of Louisiana Division of Administration, Office of Community Development Disaster Recovery Unit filed a suit July 13 against Sharon Oliver in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages, alleging that the defendant was negligent in the use of a grant that she failed to pay back. The plaintiff claims that the defendant has failed to pay back $101,871.20 plus interest.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by John Walsh of Shows, Cali & Walsh LLP in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius Regan.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 785661.
