GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages, claiming that she was injured in a slip and fall in a Sam's Club.

Angela Grant filed a suit July 18 against Sam's Club of Kenner and XYZ Insurance Co. in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on July 15, 2017 when the plaintiff was at the Sam's Club in Kenner and was caused to slip and fall on a substance on the ground.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Daniel Becnel III of the Law Office of Daniel E. Becnel III in LaPlace
