American Interstate Insurance seeks payment of $26,527

GRETNA – American Interstate Insurance Co. filed a lawsuit seeking more than $26,000 allegedly owed on an open account.

American Interstate filed a lawsuit July 24 against Davie Shoring Inc. in the 24th Judicial District Court.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account with a balance of $26,526.91, plus interest, claiming that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. It is represented by Louis Delahaye of Canova and Delahaye in Plaquemine.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Donald Rowan Jr.
