NEW ORLEANS – A woman is seeking damages for an alleged slip and fall in a Tiger Mart grocery store.
Diana Roberts filed a lawsuit July 24 against Tiger Mart LLC and Axis Surplus Insurance Co. in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, claiming the store failed to clean up a fall hazard.
According to the complaint, Roberts is seeking damages for an incident that allegedly took place on June 26, 2017 when she slipped and fell and hit her head on a door frame after she came into store to retrieve a receipt.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney's fees and all appropriate relief. She is represented by Zachary Christiansen of The Bowling Law Firm in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Piper Griffin.
