NEW ORLEANS – A woman claims that she slipped and fell in a Walmart store.

Olga Cortes filed a lawsuit July 27 against Wal-Mart Louisiana LLC in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Aug. 8, 2017 when she allegedly fell on a substance in the aisle at a Walmart in New Orleans.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney's fees and all appropriate relief. She is represented by Robert Daigre of Burgos & Associates LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge Sidney Cates IV.
