VW Credit Leasing files claim for over $20,000

GRETNA – A credit leasing company is seeking more than $20,000.

VW Credit Leasing Ltd. filed a suit Aug. 6 against Brandy Morton in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account on a lease in the balance of $20,568.04 plus interest, alleging that the defendant has failed to pay off the sums due on a 2017 Volkswagen Jetta.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by G. Thomas Arbour of The Law Offices of G. Thomas Arbour in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy Miller.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 786364.
