GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages after a car accident involving Second Harvest Food Bank of Greater New Orleans and Acadiana.
Letisha Farlough filed the lawsuit on Aug. 9 against Second Harvest Food Bank of Greater New Orleans and Acadiana and Ricardo L. Brocks Jr., the driver, in the 24th Judicial District Court.
The plaintiff is alleging negligence and is seeking damages, after her vehicle allegedly was rear-ended on Nov. 2, 2017, in an accident caused by a food bank truck driven by Brocks. Farlough allegedly was driving on the North Causeway Bridge in Jefferson when her car was struck by a Ford van that had been hit by the Second Harvest Food Bank vehicle.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by William E. Mura Jr.
The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott U. Schlegel.
