GRETNA – Dupont Resources Inc., a Belle Chasse company that paints metal products, is suing Forge Fabrication Services LLC of Belle Chasse for more than $25,000.
Dupont Resources filed the lawsuit on Aug. 9 against Forge Fabrication Services, in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging that it is owned money from a past due account. According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages that total $25,094.80 plus interest.
The defendant is accused of sums due. The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Lawrence R. DeMarcay III of Baldwin, Haspel, Burke & Mayer LLC in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy A. Miller.
